Days 1 | Hanoi

Upon landing at Hanoi's airport and completing entry procedures, we will meet the local guidance team and embark on an enjoyable tour of the charming and captivating Old Quarter of Hanoi. After the tour, we will dine at a local restaurant, followed by a transfer to the hotel for acclimatization and rest before our Asian adventure.


Day 2 | Hanoi

Good morning, Vietnam! After breakfast, we will embark on a tour that will take us to the most important and interesting sites in the captivating and bustling city of Hanoi. Our tour will begin in the unique complex dedicated to the revered leader of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh. In this complex, we will find the mausoleum and the residence of Ho Chi Minh, the father of the unified Vietnamese nation. We will be impressed by the Presidential Palace and the "One Pillar Pagoda," a beautiful pagoda built in the shape of a lotus flower. From there, we will visit the Literature Temple, built in the 11th century and serving as the first university in Vietnam. Next, we will head to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. We will conclude our enjoyable tour in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, where we can learn about the unique French-inspired architecture of the city. After the tour, we will depart for Halong Bay and stay overnight on a local cruise ship.


Day 3 | Halong Bay - Hanoi

Halong Bay is one of the most beautiful and famous landscape sites in Vietnam, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The bay is dotted with thousands of islands and rocks emerging from the water in various shapes, including caves and grottos. Our cruise will also include a visit to a stunning stalactite cave, and we will enjoy lunch on the boat. We will return to Hanoi in the afternoon, and in the evening, we will embark on a cycling tour through the city's central streets and explore the area. Overnight stay in Hanoi.


Day 4 | Hanoi - Sapa

After breakfast, we will depart on a northbound journey of approximately 5 hours towards Sapa, a beautiful town located in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam. Sapa is considered one of the highlights of the trip due to its stunning rice terraces and impressive mountains surrounding it, including the highest mountain in Vietnam. Upon arrival, we will embark on a walking tour through the Black Hmong villages of Sin Chai and Cat Cat. These villages are home to the Black Hmong ethnic group, an ethnic group residing in the mountainous region near Sapa. The small villages in the Sapa area serve as a magnet for tourists seeking to experience the traditions of the local tribes. Visitors taste authentic local food and learn about the simple way of life of the tribe members, including water extraction, wood chopping, cooking over an open fire, animal husbandry, and more. Overnight stay and dinner in the Sapa area.


Day 5 | Sapa - A Day in the Beautiful Villages

This day will be dedicated to the powerful nature of Sapa. In the morning, we will take a drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Fansipan mountain range and the green valleys to the waterfall area, located about 14 kilometers from Sapa. During the journey, we will stop at the Tram Ton Pass, situated at an altitude of 2047 meters above sea level, considered the highest pass in the country. From there, we will continue on foot along a charming path next to the Golden Stream towards the Love Waterfall. Afterward, we will return to our vehicles and continue to the Silver Waterfall, where the water falls with great force from a height of 200 meters, resembling beautiful silver threads. In the afternoon, we will continue through the picturesque rice fields of the villages to visit the Lao Chai village, home to the Black Hmong tribe, and then proceed to Ta Van village, home to the Giay ethnic group, where we can learn about their culture and unique clothing and understand the differences between the various minority groups in the region. Towards sunset, we will return to the hotel to welcome the first Sabbath in Sapa.


Day 6 | Unforgettable Saturday in Sapa - Cable Car Ascent to Fansipan Mountain

This morning, those who do not observe the Sabbath will explore the walking route within the beloved city, mingling with its residents. Afterward, we'll visit the local tribal market, where the unique ethnic groups come to sell their goods. Following the market visit, we will ascend to Fansipan Mountain, considered the highest peak in Vietnam (elevated at 3,140 meters). The cable car ascent to the summit, the longest in the world, promises a breathtaking experience. At the peak, you'll find a beautiful temple and a metal pyramid-shaped statue. In 1985, it was erected by a group of Russian mountain climbers to commemorate the victory day of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany. (For those observing religious practices, enjoy the local Sabbath market in Sapa and independent Sabbath prayers in the serene mountainous region of Vietnam). Accommodation and dinner in Sapa.


Day 7 | Sunday Market in Bac Ha

After breakfast, we'll travel to the famous Sunday market in Bac Ha, featuring various ethnic minority groups along the Red River. Different ethnic minorities preserve their culture and traditions with colorful attire and unique markets. Groups like the "Flower Hmong," Tay, and Dzao come to this market every Sunday. After the tour, we'll return to Anoai for the night. Accommodation and dinner in Hanoi.


Day 8 | Hanoi - Hue

This morning, after breakfast, we'll head to the airport and fly to Da Nang in central Vietnam. From there, we'll proceed to the picturesque town of Hue, which was once an important harbor for Chinese and Japanese merchants and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll explore the town, visit the Japanese Bridge, the community house of Phuoc Kien, and one of the preserved merchant houses, enjoying the artistic streets and shops. Accommodation and dinner in Hue.


Day 9 | Hue - Hoi An

In the morning, we'll return to Da Nang and travel through the "Japanese Tunnel" to the beautiful coastal road. By noon, we'll arrive in Hoi An, which served as the imperial capital of Vietnam until 1945. We'll visit impressive royal tombs, enter the grand citadel, and explore the royal palace of the Nguyen Dynasty. We'll also catch a glimpse of the "Forbidden City," heavily damaged in the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War, and conclude the day with a walking tour through the charming streets. Accommodation and dinner in Hoi An.


Day 10 | Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

This morning, we'll continue our exploration of the imperial city of Hue and allocate time for independent tours through its quaint streets. Depending on the flight schedule, we'll travel to the nearby airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City. (Possibly, the flight will have an intermediate destination).


Day 11 | Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, we'll head towards the Mekong Delta through picturesque villages, flooded rice fields, and floating markets. We'll cruise on the Mekong River and navigate through narrow tributaries surrounded by mangrove vegetation. We'll visit the floating market of Cai Be, tour various local home industries producing rice paper and sweets, and enjoy the tropical fruits from the orchards along the riverbanks. At the end of the journey, we'll reach Vinh Long, and from there, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City for accommodation and dinner.


Day 12 | Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap

After breakfast, we'll explore more of the colonial city, visiting Notre Dame Cathedral (under renovation), the Central Post Office building, and the War Remnants Museum. Additionally, we'll have a chance to stroll through the market and more, depending on the available time. Towards noon, we'll head to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and fly to Siem Reap, arriving just before the Sabbath. Accommodation and dinner in Siem Reap.


Day 13 | Siem Reap

Located near the Angkor Wat temples, one of the wonders of the new world. During the Sabbath, we'll take the opportunity to learn about the history of the Angkor Wat temples by visiting the modern museum located in the heart of the city, narrating the story of these marvelous temples. After the tours, we'll embark on a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake, passing through unique floating villages. In one of them, we'll witness a special sunset.


Day 14 | Wonders of Angkor Wat

This morning, we'll embark on a day of tours to the Angkor Wat temples. These temples represent the glory and power of Cambodia between the 9th and 13th centuries. The structures showcase remarkable architecture with sculptures and reliefs providing valuable insights into the daily life of that era. Among others, we'll visit the South Gate, the Bayon Temple with its numerous smiling giant faces, the Elephant Terrace, and the Royal Palace. We'll conclude the day by watching the sunset over one of the temples.
